I’m not so great at blogging. I lose interest and find it again over and over. But I wanted to have a place to sort of document this and that, talk about what I’m doing, complain about kids, whatever.
I am Mandi. I am 32 and I live in NC. I’m married (14 yrs) and my husband Dave and I have 4 kids. I am a SAHM although, it’s not my favorite thing to do. I am crafty and that is where my interests lie. I like to sew a lot. I’m fairly good at it. I can knit but don’t care to, it takes too long to see results. I suppose I have a bit of ADD, to some extent. I can crochet really well but, again, same with knitting, ADD, blah blah blah. Right now I sew and buy patterns and fabric. It’s my current obsession. Eventually I will most likely get bored with that and find something new to obsess over for a while. Annoying huh? LOL I want to start my own business making historically correct gowns. I am slowly acquiring what I need to start doing that. I plan to start in the Regency Era- late 1790’s to about Mid-1820’s. Think- Jane Austen, Sense & Sensibility, etc.
I am currently working on getting my GED. I go for the big test on April 16th and 17th. It’s a long time coming and a huge step for me. I never thought I was capable of doing it. I guess I’m proving myself wrong. 
I am thinking of going to school in the fall and just getting a General Education Associates Degree. No special field, just some education for the sake of education, for fun. Maybe down the road, take a more specialized course. Not sure yet though. Need to figure out daycare for my pre-schooler before I do anything.
I want to include pics of me and the family. I know people are curious about what a blogger looks like. I have to say that I have major self-esteem issues and posting pictures of myself is extremely hard for me to do. I may do it once in a great while but mostly you’ll see pics of my kids and other stuff. I need to get over myself but that may never happen. If you feel the need to insult me, just move on. I don’t need to hear it.

I have to say, other than I pictured wavy hair, you look a bit of what I imagined, though Dave looks nothing like I thought. I’m adding you to my favorites right now
